- Both USB and Bluetooth work. If nothing appears at all, reconnect the controller and press a button with this page focused.
- Some remapping tools claim the pad before the browser sees it. If nothing shows up, try closing them and reloading.
- Chrome or Edge expose the most controller features, including vibration.

How the score is put together
Stick drift carries the most weight, because resting movement is the fault that ruins gameplay most often. Button detection is next, then trigger performance and stick range.
Vibration and browser update stability count for very little, because both depend heavily on which browser and connection you are using rather than on the controller itself.
Confidence, not just a number
Skipping steps does not unfairly lower your score — it lowers the diagnostic confidence instead, and anything unsupported is labelled clearly rather than counted as a failure.

Frequently asked questions
- How long does the full health check take?
- About two to three minutes, most of which is the nine-second drift sample and pressing every button once.
- What counts as a good score?
- 90 and above is excellent, 78 to 89 is good, 60 to 77 is fair, and below 60 means at least one category needs attention. The category list tells you which.
- Is my score comparable with someone else's?
- Roughly, as long as both were run in a similar browser and connection. Differences in update rate and mapping affect the smaller categories.
- Where is my report stored?
- Nowhere, unless you press Save to history — then it stays in this browser's local storage on this device only.
